51mm Cardboard Spool Weight Ball Caddy - Holds 451mm Chrome Steel Balls are by far the best spool weight for cardboard spools. They cant go anywhere, they weigh 500 grams so you just pop them in when the spool is half full and kiss those overload errors good by as this keeps the spool from jumping and binding. (No it wont fix a bent flange) You can get a set of 4 on Amazon for about 25 bucks. The only downside is they roll easy, anywhere! Hence this model. This caddy will hold 4 balls at the ready, without fear of them rolling off of your workbench and on to your foot… ouch! Caddy measures 224.5mm X 55mm X 12mm Prints great in PLA.
